"The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning". Title 36, Section 176 of the United States code.

The members of Pack, Troop, & Crew 13 retire flags at closing campfires throughout the year. If your flag is torn, soiled, or damaged, please contact BSA13 or you can drop off your flag at the Oremus Center & request it be given to Pack 13 Scouts. Your flag will receive a proper retirement at our next campout.
